| Technical Advisory
All Tires & Rims 2 U recommends using correctly backspaced wheels with offsets specified by the vehicle's manufacturer. For specialized custom car building, spacers are helpful in gaining sufficient disc brake clearance for the installation and use of aftermarket custom wheels. Wheel spacers will move the wheel and tire outboard by the thickness of the spacer. The hub surface should be prepared before installation. All surface corrosion should be cleaned with a wire brush or steel wool to ensure a clean surface. Longer studs or lug bolts may be required for safe thread engagement. Once place on the hub, the Spacer should seat evenly and flatly upon the hub surface with no interference, obstruction or clamping. Place the wheel in position on the lug studs or bolts. Install lug studs or bolts evenly in a star shaped pattern by hand, then torque to factory specification. After operating the vehicle for thirty (30) miles, visually inspect and re-torque lug nuts or bolts according to factory or wheel manufacturer specifications. Never stack spacers - use only one spacer for an installation. Spacers should not be used for RV, trailer and Off-Road vehicle applications.
